Mushroom Puzzle and Cricket Banjo

The mushroom room hides up high in the Enchanted Tree. Solve the puzzle and the Jitterbug gives you the Cricket Banjo and a Jitterbug Egg.

Reach the Mushroom Room

1Go inside the Enchanted Tree and walk to the Altar in the middle.
2Follow the spiral path all the way up to the tallest platform.
3Jump off the left side. Aim for the brown platform below you. You cannot reach it from the ground.
4Walk to the end of the brown platform and jump into the white steam. It is a portal.

Solve the Puzzle

The room has 5 mushrooms: Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, and Purple. The order is different for each player, so nobody can give you the answer. You find it yourself.

5Hit each mushroom with your bat until one makes the room go dark. That is your first mushroom.
6Hit that mushroom again. The screen goes dark and shows the next one.
7Hit the ones you know in order. Each round shows you one more.
8Hit all 5 in order. A wooden door opens.

Meet the Band

9Go through the door. Bugs are playing music on a small stage.
10Talk to the Jitterbug playing the banjo. You get the Jitterbug Egg and the Cricket Banjo.
11Put the egg in your pen to hatch it. Keep the banjo for the Secret Fusion Room.
