A mutation multiplies what a pet makes. Rainbow is the best one we have listed, at x3.5.

Variants

A hatched pet can roll these. After a first roll, the game tries a second roll half the time.

Size

Heavy pets make more. Each pet has a base weight, and the game compares your pet to it.

A pet 100 times its base weight makes about 17 times the money. Past 125 times, you still gain, but more slowly.

Stacking

Mutations stack. A pet can hold one of each mutation at once, like Rainbow, Spectral, and Scrambled. It cannot hold the same mutation twice, so 5x Scrambled is not possible.

Bonuses add. They do not multiply. Golden is +150% and Rainbow is +250%, so a pet with both makes x5, not x8.75. The calculator does this for you.

Trade 500 Souls at the Soul Extractor. It works on an egg 25% of the time.

Do mutations stack?

Yes. A pet can hold one of each mutation at once, like Rainbow, Spectral, and Scrambled. It cannot hold the same mutation twice, so 5x Scrambled is not possible. Each bonus adds to the base, so Golden and Rainbow make x5.
