Your First Egg

Start in the Forest. It is right by your base, and you need no speed to go in.

Walk up to an egg and pick it up. A guardian will chase you. In the Forest, that is a Chicken. Run back to your base.

Hatch It

Put the egg in your pen. Bigger eggs take longer to grow. Come back when it is ready and hatch it.

Make Money

Each pet makes money every second. Use the Income Calculator to see how much. Rarer pets make more, and so do heavy pets and pets with mutations.

Get Speed

Speed lets you reach new biomes. Train on your treadmill, and buy better ones when you can. See all Trails and Treadmills, or read the Speed Guide. To ride a pet, you need a Mount Star. Riding adds no speed.

Plan your way home first. Grab the egg, then run. Big eggs slow you down, so get extra speed before you try one.

Yes. Players can hit you and make you drop an egg, so run straight home.
